Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the energy consumption, and to elongate the use life, of a heater by operating the heater to eveporate a fuel only, in the starting and thereafter continuously evaporizing the fuel by combustion heat.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel is fed into a vaporization chamber 2 via a fuel feed pipe 3, an electric heater 6 burried in an insulator 5 and wound about the front half of the outside surface of a hollow container 1 (consisting the chamber 1) is operated so as to vaporize the fuel in the chamber 2. The fuel vapor is fed through a vapor intake pipe 4 to a burner 8 to be ignited and combusted. Combustion heat warms up a heating part 7 arranged on the rear half of the outside surface of the container 1, to promote the evaporation of the fuel. The heater 6 is operated only in the starting and thereafter the power of the burner 8 (which is designed primarily for heating a heat exchanger 9) is used for evaporation of the fuel.
