Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the operability of a clutch by enabling easy acquisition of operating position of a clutch slip and replacement of oil within hydraulic circuit of a clutch cylinder to thereby reduce the oil viscosity in the clutch cylinder in cold district.
CONSTITUTION: In a clutch in which hydraulic oil is supplied to a clutch cylinder 3 to extend to push up a piston 3b to thereby rotate a lever 5 around a pin 7 to urge the end of a clutch band 8 by the end of the lever 5 so as to thus engage the band 8 with the inner periphery of a winding drum to transmit a power thereto, there are provided operating valves 17, 18 for arbitrarily variably altering the hydraulic pressure from a hydraulic pump 1 in response to the operating amount of an operating lever 19, a branching circuit 21 branched from a circuit between the valves 17, 18 and the cylinder 3, a control valve 22 and relief valve 23 interposed with the circuit 21, and a pilot valve 20 connected to the vent poppet of the valve 23 for urging a spring 29 in proportion to the operating amount of the lever 19.
