Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the constitution of the driving device of the copying machine and facilitate its assembling by unitizing its original base driving part and photosensitive drum driving part and assembling the same to mounting parts.
CONSTITUTION: The original base driving part constituted by the coupling 9b coupling to the coupling 9a of a photosensitive drum 7, a sprocket 24 connecting to the original base by way of a chain, electromagnetic clutch, etc. and the drum 7 driving part are unitized and are assembled to mounting plates 11, 12. When the driving part is mounted to the body 1 of the copying machine 1 by the stays 13... provided to said mounting plate 11, the couplings 9a, 9b cause the driving part and original base to be connected by the chain put on the drum 7 and sproket 24, thus the drum 7 and original base are driven in the required synchronized state.
