Abstract
PURPOSE: To use, as an AC amplifier, the operational amplifier which has been installed on the anomaly detection alarm unit that senses anomalies such as gas leaks and sends alarm, so that off-set adjustment will become unnecessary, erroneous operation will be eliminated and labor will be saved.
CONSTITUTION: Gas detector D, whose electric resistance changes when it touches inflammable gases such as a city gas, is provided on one side of AC bridge circuit 4. In the normal state where there is no inflammable gas in the air, this bridge circuit is imbalanced. When inflammable gas concentration in the air reaches the alarm concentration, it becomes balanced, its output signal voltage comes to be practically 0, and its phase is recersed by 180°. The output signal from this bridge circuit 4 is applied to the other input terminal of operational amplifier 5. The output of this amplifier 5 is divided by resistances R3 and R4 and divided voltages are impressed upon thyristor 6, which is conducted only at the time of anomaly and drives alarm unit 7. For the power source of the said amplifier, the output of all wave rectifier 3 which has been smoothened by capacitor C5 is used. For this reason, operational amplifier 5 will not become inoperative.
