Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the densities of respective sample spots to be measured even in such a case when the two sample spots that cannot be perfectly separated included by comparing the magnitudes of the integrated values of the light signal obtainable at each stroke of zigzag scanning. CONSTITUTION:The characteristic light signals having been generated as the sample spots subsequently developed for each component on thin layer chromatogram are zigzag scanned with a minute luminous flux are continually integrated in a main integrator 4 from input terminal (a) through controlling of a control signal generating part 8 which receives the stroke signals of zigzag from input terminal (c). In a sub-integrator 3, the signal is maintained in a holder 5 upon ending of integration of one stroke light signal, then the next light signal is integrated after once resetting. The result of this integration and the output of the holder 5 are compared in a comparator 6 and the result of comparison is stored in a memory device 7. When the output of the memory device 7 shifts from low to high level, the integrator 4 is once reset and the light signals are subsequently integrated.
