Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the different in brightness between the photometric display and the image of an object to be photographed, both being appearing in a finder, by changing the brightness of the photometric display in the finder in accordance with the quantity of the light having passed through a photographing lens.
CONSTITUTION: A photometric light receiving element 8 receives the quantity of the light corresponding to the brightness of an object to be photographed, which has passed through a photographing lens. The light reception detecting voltage of the element 8 is impressed upon Schmidt circuits Su1 to Su3, which are connected in parallel and which have different operating potentials, so that the current corresponding to the brightness of the object is fed to a photometric display member 14 such as a lamp by constant current sources I1 to I3 which are connected with the Schmidt circuits, respectively. As a result, in case the object is sufficiently bright, the member 14 is displayed bright, whereas in the dark case the member 14 is displayed dark. Thus, the photometric display having its brightness regulated in accordance with the brightness of the image in the finder can be accomplished.
