Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide high thermal efficiency hair curler of which bobbin is heated uniformly during short period by heating bobbin through heat pipe utilized as heat conductive medium.
CONSTITUTION: Plurality of bobbins 7 inserted through mouth 1a of case 1 are fitted to heat pipe 3 one by one, then power is put to electric heater 5. Heat from electric heater 5 is conducted to bobbins 7 through heat pipe 3 as conductive medium and bobbins 7 are heated untill predetermined temperature rapidly. Since the heat pipe 3 has heat conductivity of about 10 times of the same of metals, it is possible to heat bobbins rapidly and save the power consumption. Also, since operating liquid in the heat pipe 3 is condensed at the portion of low temperature and discharge latent heat for evaporation, there is no temperature difference between every parts of heat pipe 3 and it enables to heat bobbin uniformly and to effect good curling of hair.
