Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain automtic play sounds whose reference pitches are automatically set effectively along with the play of the electronic musical instrument by providing a means of generating the play sounds of the pitches corresponding to the voltage signals having been read out.
CONSTITUTION: A gate 69 is opened and the pitch voltage signal KV preferentially selected at that time is sampled and stored in a capacitor 68. From a voltage signal generating circuit 47, the plural set voltage signals whose references have been set with the voltage signal KV are supplied to gates G1 thru G8. The gates G1 thru G8 of a gate group 13 are sequentially opened, through which the voltage signals TV based on the pitch voltages KV of the voltage signal generating circuit 47 are sequentially outputted, thus the automatic play based on the operated key pitches, e.g., arpeggio play being made in the order of the pitches having been set by E1 thru E8 of the voltage signal generating circuit 47, is accomplished.
