Abstract

PURPOSE: To detect disconnection of lamps collectively and simplify the constitution by providing with detecting coil magnetically connected with feed wire for plurality of lamp circuit and detecting disconnection of lamp by comparing the output of the circuit with the predetermined values.
CONSTITUTION: In case of checking operation of disconnection for lamp group 2, when the key-switch 10 is thrown and switch 12 is set at the position, for example, position 2a which is corresponding to lamp 2 to be checked, switch 12 is set at the position where the predetermined adjastable resistance 11a in correspondence with capacity of lamp 2a is selected and standard voltage determined by said resistance 11a is given to the other input terminal 17a of comparator 17. Under this condition, when switch 4a is thrown, the value of secondary current of detecting coil 6 is decreased untill a half of the value of normal current and the lamp 19 is not lighted through comparator 17 if lamp 2a is connected in parallel and one of these two lamps is disconnected, thus, abnormal condition is detected.
