Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve durability and reliability by chopping driving signals and supplying the driving signals to an electro-mechanical transducer in the absence of contact via rotary transformer. CONSTITUTION:A rotary transformer 9 supplies recording signals to magnetic heads 7a, 7b, draws out reproduction signals from the heads 7a, 7b and simultaneously supplies driving signals to the bimorph plate 11 of head mounting devices 8a, 8b. A transformer 9 has plural rotors 21, stators wound with coils 22, 23 having fixed to a shaft 1. A primary coil 24 is wound to the stator 20c and a secondary coil 25 to the rotor 21c. The stators 20a, 20b and the rotors 21a, 21b transmit recording signals or reproducing signals to the magnetic heads 7a, 7b and the stator 20c and rotor 21c transmit driving signals to the electrodes 17, 18 of the bimorph plate 11 of the devices 8a, 8b.
