Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate by a single operation the control of revolution direction, speed control, starting and stop operation of the DC motor by a method wherein the variable resistor fitted with a central terminal and the power source polarity convertor are interlocked by means of one place manipulation through a cam.
CONSTITUTION: When the thumb switch 13 of the variable resistor 4 is positioned at the intermediate position between the power source polarity converting switches 1, 1' installed in parallel, then, the switches 1, 1' are connected to the OFF terminals 1c, 1c' and the slide seat 14 of the variable resistor 4 at this time is positioned at the center between the both resisting materials 8, 8', therefore, the voltage at the output terminal 9c is O; as a result thereof, the DC motor 7 does not rotate. When the thumb switch 13 is turned to the right, then, the switch 1 is connected to the ON terminal 1b and further, a voltage in accordance with the turning angle is generated at the output terminal 9c, thus, making the DC motor 7 turn in the backward direction with a speed in accordance with the turning angle. When the thumb switch 13 is turned to the left, then, the switch 1' is connected to the ON terminal 1b', thus, making the DC motor 7 turn backwardly.
