Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the application of disturbance to a signal source when the power supply is turned ON-OFF, by stopping a transient current generated by a direct-coupling amplifier from flowing to the signal source by controlling the timing of the switching operation of MOSFET.
CONSTITUTION: With the power supply ON, amplifier AMP flows a transient current out from an input terminal. In this case, the gate voltage of MOSFET2 is caused by Zener diode ZD to lag in rising and the timing for FET2 to conduct between its source and drain is also delayed. Therefore, when the transient current is generated. FET2 is OFF, stopping the transient current from flowing out. With the power supply OFF, a power voltage drops slowly. At this time, diode ZD places FET2 in an OFF state before AMP gets unstable and then flows the transient current out. Thus, the transient current never flows to the signal source.
