Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of input terminals for regeneration mode selection by obtaining a switching signal for television sound multiplex demodulation by a decision circuit which decides on several DC levels and then converts then into binary signals.
CONSTITUTION: Different DC voltages assigning main-channel regeneration, sub- channel regeneration and stereo regeneration in television sound multiplex demodulation mode are applied to a switching-signal generating circuit via switch SW. The voltage comparator composed of transistors TRQ6∼TRQ11 compares reference voltages V0∼V3 from the reference voltage generating circuit of TRQ1∼TRQ5 with mode assignment voltage from switch SW to generate mode switching signals (a)∼ (c). Those signals are outputted as switching signal A∼C together with stereo switching signal D and reference voltage signal E by way of the inverter circuit composed of TRQ13∼TRQ18 biased by the bias circuit of TRQ19∼TRQ24.
