Abstract
PURPOSE: To achieve the perfect separation of water and solids by suction-filtering material in a treating tank with a tubular filter, discharging the remained treating material to the outside of the tank with a screw conveyor and sucking the residual water leaching out from the discharge route into the tubular filter.
CONSTITUTION: When the treating material such as sludge is pressure-fed into a treating tank 2 through lead-in port 14, the fine granular solids and water leaches into a tubular filter 23 through its water feed port 24 of the filter 23 and the treating material leaches in that state into the filter 23 from the open bottom surface of the filter 23. Next, when the revolving speed of the revolving shaft 29 increases, the solids in the filter 23 are flown toward the inside wall surface by centrifugal force and drop into the tank 2 and remain there. The water content in the filter 23 is sucked through suction hole 28 into suction barrel 25 and is discharged through a discharge pipe 19 and discharge housing 15. On the other hand, the revolution of a screw 7 causes the treating material in the bottom of the tank 2 to be conveyed upward in a conveying barrel 3, where it is compressed and the squeezed out water content passes through the water feed port 24 through the through-hole 6 and is fed into the filter 23.
