Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance magnetic or mechanical property of an alloy to prepare a magnetic material by converting the said alloy to an amorphous alloy material containing one or more of elements selected from specific metal elements and metalloid elements respectively, one or more of specific elememts of IIb, VIb and Cr.
CONSTITUTION: An alloy having a composition shown by formula (T; one or more of Fe, Co, Ni, X; one ore more of Al, Si, P, B, C, M; one or more of Zn, Cd, Se, Te, 61≤a≤95, 5≤b≤35, 0.01≤c ≤4, 0≤d≤15, a+b+c+d=100) is converted to a magnetic material such as an amorphous alloy thin strip of which above 50% is amorphous by a known cantilever roll method.
