Abstract
PURPOSE: To smooth a start operation even for a high idling speed, by making a detection of power source speed, idling speed and power transmitting condition, and controlling an operation of power transmission on the reference of idling speed of the power source.
CONSTITUTION: An idling switch 61, for detecting a presence of depression of an accelerator pedal 60, a car speed sensor 65, for detecting the power output shaft speed of a transmission 64, and an engine speed sensor 66 are provided. A start controller 70, with a signal fed from the idling switch 61 and the car speed sensor 65, makes a detection for whether in a state of idling or not in motion, and controls the transmitted torque of a clutch 1 to between 0W100% in accordance with an engine output power, in the speed range between a speed signal from the engine speed sensor 66 and a reference speed, with the cluth 1 perfectly engaged, for instance, 2,500rpm. In this way, a smooth and efficient start can be always operated.
