Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A plurality of air supply tubes 9A, 9B are connected in parallel with air tank 10. Electromagnetic valves 14A, 14B for regulating the supply of compressed air are provided to each air supply tubes 9A, 9B. Predetermined number of brakes 6A, 6B are connected to said air supply tubes 9A, 9B, then said electromagnetic valves 14A, 14B are sequentially opened in accordance with the drop of rotation to function the brakes 6A, 6B in step thus to increase the pressing force of brake. Consequently the brake ring is prevented from producing cruel thermal stress.
