Abstract
PURPOSE: To readily mold the composite mold which is molded with sand molds in the fixed positions of upper and lower metal molds by combining the upper and lower metal molds and blowing metal molds and blowing and packing resin sand to the entire part of the well, sprue and sprue base and a part of casting mold.
CONSTITUTION: The upper mold 1 and lower mold 2 formed with cavities 3, 4 to beome crankshaft or the like, well and head parts 5, sprue 6, sprue button 7 and molten metal part 8 are respectively combined with blowing metal molds 11, 12. This composite mold may be readily volume-produced, and its head and well are reduced, thus the moldings free from defects such as cavities and crackings may be obtained with a good yield.
