Abstract
PURPOSE:To match the end parts of copying paper and prevent the superposing and biasing at the refeeding by providing impact-absorbing members to the surface of a front plate against which the copying paper of an intermediate cassette which temporarily places and holds the copying paper being conveyed after the copying processing of the front surface abuts. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of impact-absorbing members 26, 27 are provided to the surface of a front plate 5 against which the copying paper 6 of an intermediate cassette 3 which temporarily places and holds the copying paper 6 being conveyed after having undergone copying processing of the front surface abuts. Urethane foam, rubber or the like is used as material for said impact-absorging members 26, 27. With such constitution, the copying paper 6 which is being conveyed and has a speed instantaneously stops when it abuts against the impact-absorbing members 26, 27 and therefore the matching of the leading ends 4 may be accomplished. Even when the entire surface of the copying paper is curling and there is air between the sheets of the copying paper, the air escapes between the impact-absorbing members 26, 27 and front plate 5 and therefore the placement of the copying paper is accomplished without any hindrance. In this way, the occurrence of superposing and biasing at the refeeding of paper are prevented.
