Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a test device for meter transformer which features a high controllability and high accuracy by counting the relative error and the phase angle by two pairs of reversible counters connecting to the D/A converters.
CONSTITUTION: The oscillation output of oscillators OSC1 and OSC2 are counted by reversible counters UD1 and UD2 so that the minimum swing may be secured for galvanometer G which is connected along with the secondary winding of error compensating transformer PTa connected between the secondary windings of standard transformer PTs and tested transformer PTx. As a result, vector voltage Vε of the same phase as the secondary voltage of PTs via D/A converters DA1 and DA2 to which the count value of UD1 and UD2 are applied is compounded through vector mixer MIX with vector voltage Vθ featuring the different phase by 90° from the secondary voltage of PTs via phase shifter PH. And balancing vector voltage ΔV is applied to the primary winding of PTa. As a result, the relative error and the phase angle are read out directly for PTa against PTs from the count value of UD1 and UD2, thus obtaining a test device for meter transformer featuring a high controllability and high accuracy.
