Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the circulating flow of low speeds and good efficiency and eliminate the need for the installation of another agitator for the circulation of the slurry in vessel by providing a baffle plate in the upper and lower parts of vessel.
CONSTITUTION: A rotatable shaft 3 is provided at the center of a crystallizing vessel 1, to the former of which are fixed support arms 20 in the horizontal direction. Flat bars 21 are fixed to the arms 20 and scraping blades 5 are installed thereto. On the way of the arms 20, a draft tube 4 is provided to make the vessel inside into double cylinders, so that the circulating flow by the agitating blades 6 is produced. Since the agitating blades 6, scraping blades 5, etc. rotate at the same time around the shaft 3, the agitation and scraping may be accomplished simultaneously.
