Abstract
PURPOSE: To let build-up welding of set weight be accomplished automatically by the use of the non-consumable electrode type automatic welding machine by cutting off the welding power source circuit when the number of pulses corresponding to the consumable electrode feed amount having been set is counted by a preset type counter.
CONSTITUTION: The unbalance amount and angular signal of a rotor 1 from the output terminals 11-4, 11-5 of a balance measuring device 11 are inputted to an arithmetic memory circuit 12 which in turn converts the results of the operation for unbalance correction to the length of a core wire 2 and presets the pulse data for controlling said length in a preset type counter 16. Next, when a welding switch 21 is closed, a voltage is applied between the core wire 2 and rotor 1 and a core wire feed motor 5 is dirven. The core wire 2 then starts descending and arc is produced, whereby build-up welding is accomplished on the rotor 1. The pulses being generaged from the pulse generator connected to the core wire feed roller 4 are inputted to the counter 16. When the number of the input pulses coincides with the preset data, a relay 18 operates to open the power source circuit 7, by which the core wire 2 is stopped and the required amount of build-up correction is finished.
