Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the remote control device of the camera by generating sound waves of relatively high frequencies from a sounding source and letting the actuator provided to an electromagnetic device make one reciprocation by way of these sound waves thereby operating the shutter of the camera.
CONSTITUTION: A release 13 and electrical circuits other than a light emitting device are contained in an electronic light emitting device 7. The camera is held to a tripod and when the preparation for photographing is over, a whistle 32 is depressed, then the sound waves emitted by this become the output of a filter circuit 26a. When the whistle is sounded for more than 0.5sec, a motor 16 is supplied with current by the action of the current supply control circuit of the motor 16 and therefore the electromagnetic device operates and an actuator 14 makes one reciprocation and stops. Hence, the camera shutter pushbutton 12 is pushed and photographing may be cone. In this way, the finest condition of the subject may be selected and photographed by the remote control device, unlike a self-timer.
