Abstract

PURPOSE: The revolving type adsorbing element for gas treatment which comprises spirally coiling a corrugated board form board composed of sheets containing activated carbon fibers, fixing both ends by means of adhesives and finishing these to a flat surface and which causes less degradation of adsorbing ability and is easy to form.
CONSTITUTION: A sheet 1 which contains at least about 10% of activated carbon fibers is formed in waveform and is bonded to a flat sheet, whereby the corrugated board form board is made. This board is coiled to spiral form and the both ends of the resultant tubular element are fixed by means of adhesives, after which it is cut and finished by polishing to a flat surface, whereby the revolving type adsorbing element for gas adsorption is obtained.
