Abstract

PURPOSE: Paste resin composition usuful for floor, wall materials, etc., which, when dispersed into a plasticizer, is well defoamed and is a low-viscisity paste sol, comprising a specified alkylaryl sulfonate and a paste resin.
CONSTITUTION: Paste resin composition comprising (A) an alkylarylsulfonate having at least one alkyl group, the total carbon number of which is at least sixteen, and (B) a paste resin, where Mg or Ca keptadecyl-benzensulfonate, etc. is used as (A). (B) is prepared by obtaining latex by the aqueous emulsion polymerization of vinyl chloride polymer or its mixture with a copolymerizable comonomer in the presence of polymerization catalysts and drying the latex. Its particle size is preferably 30μ or less and a sphere of 0.1W0.2μ is desirable in paticular. 0.01W20pts.wt. preferably 0.1W2pts.wt. of (A) are compounded per 100pts.wt. of (B).
