CONSTITUTION: Delay circuits 6, 7 and 8 having delay times T1, T2 and T3 are provided between transmitter 1 and directional coupler 2, between directional coupler 2 and impedance matching equipment 3, and between impedance matching equipment 3 and antenna 5 respectively. The relation among delay times T1, T2 and T3, maximum sense distance/radio wave propagation speed T0, and pulse width δ for transmission pulses observed by the receiver is expressed by T0/2≤T1, T2 and T3 and δ/2≤(T3-T1)≤T2-(T0/2).
