Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide an extermely accurate control of the ignition timing of engines by continuously controlling the ignition timing corresponding to the atmospheric pressure and also by producing a controlling negative pressure corresponding to the atmospheric pressure after regulating the variable negative pressure of the engine to a constant negative pressure. CONSTITUTION:A negative pressure control valve 3 leaves a signal passage 10 open while the suction pipe negative pressure is higher than a fixed negative pressure so that the controlling negative pressure is introduced to the first pressure chamber 406 of a negative pressure advancer 4 and the ignition timing is advanced in proportion to the fall of the atmospheric pressure. The negative pressure at an advance port 106 is introduced to the second pressure chamber 407 of the negative pressure advancer 4 so that the ignition timing is controlled also corresponding to the position of the throttle valve 101. When the suction pipe negative pressure falls under the fixed negative pressure during acceleration, the negative pressure control valve 3 closes the signal passage 10 so that the negative pressure in the first pressure chamber adjusted corresponding to the atmospheric pressure will not change;
