Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the heat transfar capacity by inclining in a fixed angle against the horizontal surface by positioning the evaporation element at the low side.
CONSTITUTION: The evaporation element A of a heat pipe is positioned at the lower side having a inclined angle θ of 20W70° against the horizontal surface L. By this configuration, the operation liquid develops the vapor 2' from the evaporation element A to flow in an arrow direction, permitting to condense 2" at the condenser B for descending. This allows the contacting surface between the ascending vapor and the descending condensing liquid to reduce owing to providing the inclined angle θ. Consequently, the pressure drop of condensing liquid can be minimized, which allows to increase remarkably the head difference in comparing with the horizontal condition. Accordingly, this enables to increase the heat transfar capacity.
