Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of classifying work by drawing out steel rails classified in small rates of number according to the result of examination at a right angle and taking out steel rails only classified and accumulated in a large rate of number at the terminal part of an examining conveyer.
CONSTITUTION: When steel rails classified and colored separately are successively conveyed on an examination conveyer 31 to a drawing-out table group 11, drawing- out tables 11 designated to operate according to the detection of a specific color for each are raised by the operation of a lifting device unillustrated, and only specific steel rails are lifted from the examination conveyer 31 to be drawn out at a right angle to the examination conveyer 31 automatically. Meanwhile, uncolored steel rails are sent to the terminal of the examination conveyer 31 without being drawn out by the drawing-out table group 11. After being accumulated into the number of a binding unit of steel rails 20 by an accumulating device 14 and a counting device 19, they are moved to a carrying-out table 15 by a taking-out device 21.
