Abstract
PURPOSE:To receive always reflection lights to make multi-item difect check possible by scanning plural light beams different in irradiation spot diameter and incident angle with rotary mirrors having rotation phases shifted from each other. CONSTITUTION:Light receivers 4A and 4B are arranged along the scanning direction of irradiation spots on sheet-shaped material 3, and light beams from laser oscillators 1a and 1b different in spot diameter and incident angle/wave length are scanned with rotary mirrors 2a and 2b having rotation phases shifted from each other, and reflection lights from irradiation spots 6a and 6b of respective beams are incident onto light receivers 4A and 4B. Then, outputs A and B of respective light receivers are processed synchronously with driving signals of rotary mirrors, so that various kinds of defect can be classified and checked.
