Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate non-maintenance service for a pump for a long period in such a way that leak gas which passes through a bearing is air-tightly housed in an enclosing vessel, and a lubricating oil system is held air-tightly.
CONSTITUTION: Though part of working gaseous matter in a pump box body 2 leaks through the gap between a bearing 7 and a rotary axle 5, it is housed in a space 37 in the enclosing vessel 15. Part of working gaseous matter which leaks through the bearing 7 mixes lubricating oil, it comes into an oil sump for lubricating oil and waste oil, which further comes through an oil sump air vent 36 into the internal space 37 of the enclosing vessel 15. Such as this, it is filled in the enclosing vessel 15, and according to the necessity, it passes through an opening port for substituting gas, the substitution is effected by opening and closing a valve for substituting gas. Thus, it facilitates to drive the pump without non-maintenace service for a long period.
