Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the transport and installation of a gas-insulated switch, by transporting the switch fixed on a base by means of trailer and fixing the base on the site foundation.
CONSTITUTION: A horizontal ground tank type gas-insulated breaker 13 is connected with a gas-insulated disconnecting switch 14 and both are fixed on a wheeled 16 base 17 to compose a gas-insulated switch. This switch is transported by a trailer 11 to the site of installation and the base 17 with the switch on it is fixed on a previously built foundation. Then bushings 12, 19 are assembled there on the breaker and the disconnecting switch respectively.
