Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a gaseous waste reheating device wherein the atmospheric air temperature and atmospheric air humidity are detected, an optimum heating temperature adapted to the atmospheric air condition is sought from these detected values to change automatically the set values, thereby to reduce energy consumption for reheating.
CONSTITUTION: The temperature of gaseous wastes from a wet type desulfurizer 1, the temperature of atmospheric air, and the humidity thereof are constantly detected by means of an inlet gaseous waste temperature measuring apparatus 8 which measures the temperature of gaseous wastes prior to reheating discharged from the device 1, an atmospheric air temperature measuing apparatus 90 which measures the atmospheric air temperature, and an atmospheric air humidity measuring apparatus 10 which measures the atmospheric air humidity. From these detected values white smoke generation limit temperatures responsive to the atmospheric conditionson all occasions are obtained by an operation device 11, and the white smoke generation limit temperatures added with slight allowance +α by a bias adder 12 are given to a heating temperature measuring meter 7 as reheating temperature set values. By carrying out the control of outlet gaseous waste temperature in this manner, the gaseous wastes are reheated at the optimum reheating temperature corresponding to the varying atmospheric air conditions, and thereby the quantity of energy consumed is reduced.
