Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent noises from being generated by connecting switching Tr's of the reverse conduction type in parallel to transistors Tr constituting a differential amplifier, and then stopping the collector currents of those Tr's from being saturated. CONSTITUTION:A differential amplifier is composed of NPN type Tr's Q1 and Q2 and PNPTr's Q4 and Q5 of the reverse conduction type are connected in parallel. Then, supplying more than a voltage equivalent to power supply Vcc to bases of Tr's Q4 and Q5 via control input CT1 makes differential amplifiers TrQ1 and Q2 generate output signal at their outputs OUT1 and OUT2 corresponding to a voltage difference between inputs IN1 and IN2. The supply of a low-voltage switching signal to control input CT1 turns Tr's Q4 and Q5 ON and the signals of OUT1 and OUT2 disappear, providing switching operation. In this case, a fixed forward bias is applied to control input CT2, TrQ3 operates as a constant current circuit, and collector currents of Q4 and Q5 flow into TrQ3, cutting off Tr's Q1 and Q2. Then, Tr's Q4 and Q5 are stopped from being saturated by applying a forward bias to control input CT3 of TrQ6, thereby reducing the generation of noises.
