Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the malfunction of an I/O device dependent upon CPU power source break, by making a voltage for transmission request and a voltage for transmission data sequential and by turning off the voltage for transmission data at a prescribed time after CPU power source break.
CONSTITUTION: A transmission/receiving circuit for MODEM control signals is mounted on interface part 4 of CPU1 and I/O device 2 respectively. In the power source circuit for MODEM interface mounted on interface part 4, voltages V1 and V2 are provided for transmission request RS and transmission data SD respectively, and voltage V1 is equal to power source voltage V and is turned off by power source break of CPU1. Meanwhile, voltage V2 is not turned off immediately after power source break of CPU1 but is turned off at a prescribed time after power source break of CPU1. As a result, the malfunction of the I/O device dependent upon power source break of CPU1 can be prevented.
