Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to always maintain constant the tone of the intermittently chiming signals, which are attenuated with a preset time constant, by using an amplifier which has its output voltage independent of the amplification of a transistor. CONSTITUTION:Sound frequency signals f1 are intermitted by chiming frequency signals f2 and are attenuated into chiming signals, which are fed to the base of a transistor TR Tr1. The primary winding of an output transformer is connected as a load resistor R1 between the emitter of the TR Tr1 and the collector of a TR Tr2. The emitter of the TR Tr1 and the collector of a TR Tr2. The emitter of the TR Tr1 is connected through a resistor RE with a power source, and the TR Tr2 has its emitter grounded to the earth and its base connected with the collector of the TR Tr1. The output voltage of the amplifier thus constructed becomes EOUT = VO X RL/RE (wherein VO stands for an input voltage) so that it become independent of the amplification of the TRs Tr1 and Tr2. As a result, it is possible to generate the chiming sounds of a preset tone irrespective of the influences due to the dispersion and fluctuations in the amplitude of the transistors Tr1 and Tr2.
