Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to directly read the water depth by a small and compact construction by converting the water pressure into the water depth by use of an electronic water pressure detector to digitally indicate the same.
CONSTITUTION: A digital indication part 2 is an ordinary watch and indicates time. However, when a button 4 for switching the mode is depressed, it can be switched over to a calender mode or a timer mode. The depth gage comprises buttons 6, 7 and 8 and a water pressure detector 9. In the detector 9 the pressure of outer air is detected and digital-converted by an electronic circuit, and when a depth indicating button 7 is depressed, the water depth is indicated in a digital indication part 3. When a zero point adjusting button 8 is depressed, the water depth is reset at zero, and further when the button 7 is depressed, the water depth is indicated in the indication part 3 on a unit of meter using as a comparison reference the corresponding value at the time of the depth being reset at zero, and when the button is depressed, the water depth is indicated on a unit of feet.
