Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize easily an antenna featuring the wide band and high gain by using the self-complementary paired antenna with plate. CONSTITUTION:Electric conductor plates 2, 3 and 4 plus magnetic conductor plates 5, 6 and 7 are distributed symmetrically at the upper and lower side of the horizontal axis passing through feed point 1, and at the same time electric conductor plate 4 and magnetic conductor plate 7 are located in an optional form at point 1 to be symmetric in both the vertical and horizontal directions. The antenna thus formed features the self-complementary paired antenna with the constant impedance secured logically. This antenna features the constant impedance due to the symmetric current source even though magnetic conductor plates 5 and 6 may be excluded. Furthermore, the radiation characteristics excellent in practical use can be secured even with no magnetic conductor plate 7. Also electric conductor plates 2 and 3 are used for unipole element 8 and its complementary-paired slit 9 each, and horizontal plate 11 can also be used for the plate.
