Abstract

PURPOSE: To detect tape winding-in with a simple constitution by detecting whether a disc, which is supported rotatably by the pinch roller axis, and a capstan rotate to be brought into contact with each other or not.
CONSTITUTION: Disc 5 is provided on the same axis as pinch roller 2 with a slight distance form pinch roller 2 and has the center supported rotatably by pinch roller axis 4 and is so constituted that rotation of disc 5 may be stopped by separation between outside wheel 6 and capstan 1 when a gap is generated among capstan 1, pinch roller 2, and tape 3. Plate-shaped magnet 7 is fixed to the outside circumference lower face of disc 5, and lead switch 8 is provided in a position opposite to magnet 7. When tape 3 is wound around capstan 1, the outside diameter becomes large to move pinch roller axis 4 to the arrow a direction, and the outside circumference of disc 5 is separated from capstan 1 to stop rotation of disc 5. Consequently, magnet 7 stops to stop turning-on and off of lead switch 8, thereby stopping the tape recorder. Thus, tape winding-in can be detected with a simple constitution.
