Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to transmit power of microwave to a certain part on the earth daily, by using a plurality of electronic scanning arrays as the power transmission antenna and keeping the antenna fixed on the solar power generation satellite. CONSTITUTION:The electronic scanning array antennas 3a-3d as a plurality of power transmission antennas are fixedly fitted on the solar cell panel 1 of power generation satellite on the standstill orbit. The beam of the antennas 3a-3d is respectively variable in the range of 90 deg., enabling to produce the beam toward arbitrary direction in 360 deg. as a whole. The antennas 3a-3d are sequentially selected in response to the relative position between the sun and the earth of the power generation satellite so that the beam of microwave power can be directed toward a given location on the earth at all times.
