Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:A Piperazine compound of formula I (A is lower alkylene; X is H or halogen), its acetal, or their salt.
EXAMPLE: 5-Chloro-3-(4-formylmethyl-1-piperazinyl)carbonylmethyl-2-benzothiazolinone.
USE: Medicine having anti-allergic, anti-phlogistic, and analgesic activities. Dose: 0.1W1,000mg of the effective component per kg day.
PROCESS: The compound IX or its acetal or their salt can be prepared by reacting a compound II or its salt with a compound III (Y is acid residue) or its acetal, and if necessary, eliminating acetal from the product. The compound I or its salt is converted to a compound IV or its salt by reduction.
