Abstract
PURPOSE:To make easier operation as well as raise the reliability of product by the procedure in which a screen formation process involving a fluorescent substance precipitation, filming, aluminum deposition, baking, etc., is applied on a glass panel and then the glass panel is sealed with a funnel. CONSTITUTION:Prior to bonding, the panel glass 1 and the funnel glass 9 are separately cleansed sufficiently, and the inside of the panel glass 1 is at first subjected to a screen formation process involving the precipitation of a fluorescent substance, filming on the fluorescent film, aluminum deposition, baking, etc., where the graphite paint 3 is coated in the prescribed width throughout the inner wall of the panel skirt portion in advance. Then, the panel glass 1 and the funnel glass 9 are sealed together and the between the graphite paint coat 3 on the inner surface of the panel glass 1 and the graphite film 7 provided on the inner surface of the funnel 9 is connected with each other through graphite and electrically energized, whereby permitting the soils on the inner surface of the panel glass 1 to removed completely. Thus, the formation of excellent fluorescent film can be formed.
