Abstract

CONSTITUTION: An electric appliance 3, separated from an automatic cord taking- up device connected with the taking-up device through a relay cord 2 which is taken up by the taking-up device 1. The cord 2 is taken out of the taking-up device 1 for connecting it with the appliance 3 held by a hand. Since the taking-up device 1 is separated from the appliance 3 and firmly hanged on a wall 5 or pole, tension of the cord 2 is not transmitted to a power cord 18 and a plug 17 does not come off the power socket 6 on the wall 5 or pole. The weight of the appliance 3 is also reduced although it is still possible to wind up cord 2.
