Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable processing solution exchange in adepuate times without troublesome operations, by automatically discharging and supplying the solutions of photographic processing baths with bath washing between, when the number of film processing exceeds a set value.
CONSTITUTION: A film passes through developing bath 14, fixing bath 15, washing bath 16, and a drying unit neighboring to each other in succession along a conveyor route by a number of transporting rollers rotating at an equal speed to complete development processing. On exceeding the set number of film processing, processing solution are automatically exchanged. In the case of developing solution, electromagnetic valves 23, 24, 29, 30 and pumps 22 and 27 are used. According to the predetermined program, the waste solution of bath 14 is discharged, circulation washing by water, washing by the developing solution, further cleaner treatment, and finally water washing are repeated. The developing solution exchange step is completed next by supplying the fresh developing solution and resetting the number of film processing.
