Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Lower rolls 5, 6 are moved to the insertion side of plate body. The lower rolls 5, 6 are moved together with lower roll bearing parts 11 by lower roll moving mechanisms 32 to let connecting means 29a, 29b contact the protrusions 33 of the bearing parts 16a, 16b, thereby causing the lower roll 6 to deviate with respect to the upper roll 1. The quantity of deviation of the lower roll 6 is adjusted by raising the connecting shaft 12 by means of a lower roll elevating drive unit 22. When the position setting of the lower rolls 5, 6 is finished, the upper roll 1 is moved downward to press the plate body and at the same time the lower rolls 6, 5 are revolved to curve the plate body upward while inserting the plate body therein.
