Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an effective anti-vibration in a grip that is mounted on the operating handle of a machine, etc. that vibrates violently, by providing the grip comprising a cylindrical body surrounding the handle shaft and radial supports supporting the cylindrical body, and by shaping the supports long longitudinally. CONSTITUTION:An anti-vibration grip 1 consists of a cylindrical body 11 which has an inner diameter larger than the outer surface of a handle shaft 2 and a plural number of supporting plates 12 that is fixed and standing on the outer surface of the handle shaft 2 in order to support the cylindrical body 11, and the shape of a supporting plates is made so as to have longitudinally long cross section to facilitate buckling. When an external force is applied to the cylindrical body 11, the supporting plates 12 are flexed and deformed. Furthermore, the supporting plates 12 are flexed and deformed with their outside ends sliding on the inner face of the cylindrical body 11, because it is not fixed on the ends of the supporting plates 12. In this arrangement, anti-vibration effect in a wide range are attainable.
