Abstract
PURPOSE: To thoroughly lubricate bearings, greatly reduce their heating and damages and lengthen their lifetime, by pushing air out of a partition vessel of a magnet pump to the outside of the pump by the pressure of liquid flowing into a fluid passage and a penetration hole of an end plate.
CONSTITUTION: Before the magnet pump is started, the liquid is supplied to a casing 13 and easily and quickly flows from an impeller chamber 14 into the fluid passage 11 through the penetration hole 18 opened through the end plate 6 and located in a lower position. Gas such as air in the fluid passage 11 and other penetration holes 19 is discharged by the pressure of the liquid out of the casing 13 through another penetration hole 18 opened near the top of the fluid passage 11. Therefore, the partition vessel 5 is filled with the liquid. The removal of the gas and the lubrication of the bearings 8, 9 are thus thoroughly performed.
