Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate drainage in a tank, by communicating a drain branch from the tank with a drain main on the same depth and installing a drain motor at a bottom drain port of the drain main.
CONSTITUTION: A drain branch 9 from a tank is communicated with a drain main 5 on the same depth and a drain motor 13 is installed at a bottom drain port of the drain main 5. Since the depth of water in the main 5 is the same as that outside of the main and hydraulic pressure on the drain motor 13 is counterbalanced close to zero, power required for driving the drain motor 13 is minimized and the tank is easily drained.
