Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the seal property of the valve at the time of opening the same by providing a plurality of urging members, which serve to mount an elastic seat member in a valve casing, with a projecting portion adapted to wedge into cam surface.
CONSTITUTION: An elastic sheet member 11 is fitted in a groove 12 formed on the inner periphery of a valve casing, and a plurality of urging members 13 are secured by bolts to the valve casing 1. Between an end urging member 13 acting upon the end of the sheet member 11 and another urging member 13 in contact with the first one, a cam surface b for causing displacement of the end urging member 13 toward an annular seal member with relative movement of both urging members 13 caused by clamping of bolts a is formed. The end urging member 13 is provided with a projecting portion d adapted to wedge into the seat member 11 for causing displacement of the seat member 11 with the displacement of the end urging member 13.
