Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure the continuation of the data communication even at the faulty time of the center device without duplicating the center device but by adding previously the center device for the backup purpose to be used when the center device becomes faulty. CONSTITUTION:In case the center device is faulty and the access is given to the terminal from the center, the backup center device takes over the faulty center device to give the access to terminal AB(BB). On the other hand, the access is given to the center side from the terminal side by dialing the subscriber's number of the center device from terminal unit AA(BA). At the center station, the TRT transmits automatically the subscriber number of the backup center device when the subscriber's number arrives at incoming circuit B'. Then the subscriber number of the bakup center arrives at the backup center station from originating circuit A' and via the center station to be connected to incoming circuit B of the backup center device. Thus the data communication is carried out between terminal unit AA(BA) and backup center device B.
